Made with MAGIX www.nix-oceanpix.com We took the opportunity of a half-term break in Lanzarote this October and spent a great week diving with Dive College Lanzarote. I say "we" because my Daughter Emily-Jayne is now proudly displaying her Junior Open Water Diver certification and enjoying life beneath the surface as much as I do. We stayed at the Timanfaya Palace Hotel which is perfectly situated for several great shore dives right off the back of the hotel. Better still, the dive centre is on-site and so all very convenient. Every morning dive was by boat (RIB) with the afternoon dives typically being one of the shore dive sites off the back of the hotel or via the main dive centre a short distance away. This was a good time of year to visit with the water still warm'ish at around 21 degrees and a plentiful supply of sea life including a large number of Angel Sharks, Octopus and Moray Eels plus plenty of Grouper, Scorpionfish, Stingray, Eagle Ray & Barracuda. Highly recommended.
